Can opener

I thought about this tonight while making poppy seed chicken... Do you wash your can opener?  I do!  I guess I am just a weirdo.. but I wash it in the dishwasher.. not everytime I use it but when I think about it..
If you are like me and wash your can opener, do you notice sometimes it is hard to use and hurts your fingers?  I spray the wheel with cooking spray, works perfect everytime!!!

  1. And here I was thinking I am the only person left (with the exception of bachelor hermits who live deep in the woods) who used the traditional can openers. I can't manage to work those safety-lid ones.. and the electric can opener just takes up counterspace. I have one of those old metal numbers that can also get tops off bottled cokes and poke holes in pet milk.

  3. I've never even thought of it...I have a safety-lid one...my old, traditional one I would just wipe with a towel.
