Oriental Salad

Oriental Salad

dressing : 4 1/2 tbsp white vinegar

3 tbsp. sugar

1/2 cup veg oil

salt/ pepper to taste (I use a pinch of each)

2 tbsp. sesame seed oil

1 packet Chicken flavor Ramen noodles

1 pkg cole slaw

1/2 cup toasted almonds ( I use sunflower nuts)

1/2 chopped green onions

3 tbsp. sesame seeds

1 pkg. dry top Ramen noodles (crushed)

Mix, . then add the crushed noodles right before you are going to eat.... I have learned this recipe is better if you make it and eat it... he he

If you make it and chill it even for an hr, it kinda breaks the slaw down.. just turns to mush... . This has to be my new favorite recipe. It will make you slap your mama


  1. What a strange coincedence. My MIL was telling me about this just this weekend, and that was the first I heard of this dish. I hear it is really good. She uses broccoli slaw??

  2. Jenn, This is a wonderful salad... I haven't used the broccoli slaw, but I do remember seeing Paula Deen making a similar dish with the broccoli slaw. I am sure it would be wonderful either way... I would rather make this than eat a piece of chocolate cake... So you know it is good!
